Every year in New Jersey, more
than 1,000,000 animals are hunted and killed.
To engage in this recreation, hunters spend millions of dollars
on license fees - nearly all of which goes to pay the salaries
of state biologists and employees of the NJ Division of Fish and
Game - whose job it is to provide animals for hunters to kill.
The mandate for such wildlife management comes from the NJ Fish
and Game Council, a state board which is controlled and dominated
by hunters.
That is the vicious cycle of
wildlife management.
Though this is the story of New Jersey, you will find that no
matter what state you live in,
the following statements hold true:
Hunting is a business and state
biologists practice economics, not science.

This site is dedicated to explaining
the realities of wildlife management and the damage that it has
done to our state. All of the information used for this comes
directly from the New Jersey Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife,
The New Jersey Fish and Game Council, The New Jersey Federation
of Sportsmen, and others who profit and take pleasure from hunting.
Here, in their own words, those
who tell you publicly
that you need hunting will tell you the truth: you do not.
